- (4 June 2008) The eSRC is part of a successful bid for the Australian Research Council grant Who Am I?: "the archive"; as central to quality practice for current and past care leavers. Together with care-leavers, community service organisations, the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, government and others, the eSRC will develop a digital archive using innovative technologies to access historical material and provide a model for constructing records in the future. The aim is to help overcome the ongoing impact which out-of-home care has had on the health of care-leavers.
- (31 May 2008) The eSRC are hosting a booth for the University of Melbourne at eResearch Australasia 2008 in September which will include the activities of the Director for eResearch, Research Computing Services, the Research Data Capabilities Group, and the eSRC. The eScholarship Research Centre (eSRC) is located on the 2nd floor of the Thomas Cherry Building.
